  Thomas lived on lot 28, concession 14 in East Wawanosh, Huron County, Ontario in 1899. Many of the sources tell us that Thomas Campbell was born in Ireland, including his death registration which tells us that he was born in County Down. However some sources tell us that he was born in Scotland. It would appear that three of his children, Margaret, Mary Jane and John were born in Scotland. He immigrated between 1852 and 1854 to Canada.
