Notes - Thomas and Rebecca Potter arrived in Rudyard by Railway on March 15, 1897. They spent 2 weeks at the home of Hiram McDowell on the " Pea line", Rudyard, Pickford township line road 6 miles west of Pickford. Then rented a farm from Thomas Marks. Later a farm was purchased in T44N R2W Section 31, Pickford Township and they moved into the new home in 1908. In 1920 Thomas and Rebecca Moved to Sault Ste Marie, MI.
